Michael Chu is a senior pursuing a double major in Accounting and Business Administration. This past summer, he interned in EY’s Assurance practice in Los Angeles. Outside of Beta Alpha Psi, Michael is involved in the community service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. He also enjoys attending a variety of concerts and music festivals. His most memorable experience was when he attended the Grammy’s and had floor seat tickets near all of the celebrities. Michael will be starting full time with EY next year under their TAS Plus+ Rotation Program, where he will rotate between the Assurance and Transaction Support practices.
Professor Rose Layton
Rose Layton is an expert in auditing and assurance and financial accounting, particularly in the areas of auditor liability and financial statement fraud. She is a Searle Fellow and a recipient of the Margaret Keldie Award from the American Society of Woman Accountants.

Tyga is a junior at USC who is majoring in Accounting. He transferred from a community college in Illinois to USC and joined BAP in the spring 2016 semester. His future career aspiration is to work in the finance/accounting field. His favorite things to do outside of school include watching NHL hockey, hiking, eating, and following hip hop music.

Gabe Lam is a junior double majoring in Accounting and Business Administration. Originally from South Florida, Gabe enjoys the cool Los Angeles weather and the vibrant music scene surrounding USC. He looks forward to spending next summer with KPMG in their Deal Advisory group. Besides accounting, Gabe enjoys improving his golf game, as well as traveling and videography.

Daniel is a junior pursuing a major in Accounting. He is originally from Denver, Colorado and spent two years at the University of Denver before transferring to USC. This summer Daniel will be interning at PwC under their transaction services practice with the CMAAS group. Some of his interests outside of school include enjoying the outdoors, photography, and playing basketball.
Shawon is a junior at USC, concurrently pursuing his Bachelors and Masters of Accounting. He is looking forward to being your Controller for the spring semester. His goal is to provide USC Beta Alpha Psi with more financial flexibility to provide meaningful events for its members and professionals alike. Shawon is originally from Orange County, California. He has one older brother who currently attends UCLA. When Shawon graduates, he will commission into the United States Army, and looks forward to becoming a professional in the public accounting assurance service line.

Nina Walter is a junior pursing a double major in Accounting and Business Administration. This past summer she did Sophomore Leadership Programs with PwC and EY. She has previously interned with a private equity firm and attended a Women in Finance event with Wells Fargo. On campus, she is also the President of the Leventhal Student Honor Council and last year worked as a supervisor for the USC Bookstore. In her spare time, Nina enjoys hiking, volunteering, and exploring places in Los Angeles for her blog. She will be interning with EY in their Risk Advisory Practice this upcoming summer.

Michael Anderson is a junior from Portland, Oregon studying Accounting and Business Administration with a minor in Communication, Law and Media Policy. On campus, Michael is involved in BAP, Global Brigades at Marshall, and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and loves making an impact on campus. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, watching movies, and traveling.
David Wang is a senior at USC studying Business Administration and Accounting with a minor in Social Entrepreneurship. He is originally from Arcadia, CA and studied at NYU for a year prior to transferring to USC, and is looking forward to serving as Student Advisor to the Board this semester. He interned with EY in the FSO Tax practice in Spring of 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed his experience. Outside of school, David is looking to keep his developing his hobby as a photographer. He also enjoys window-shopping and reading the Wall Street Journal.

Kara Barnett is a sophomore pursuing a major in Accounting. She is from Orange County, CA, and transferred from Irvine Valley Community College in the Fall of 2016. Kara currently works part time at the Lyon Center. Along with being a student and working part time, Kara is the Director of Internal Affairs. Additionally, she will be recruiting and applying for the Summer Leadership Program this semester. Outside of the classroom, Kara enjoys reading, hanging out with friends and family, and watching baseball.

Joanna Du is a sophomore at USC majoring in Accounting. She is born and raised in Beijing, China, and her career goal is to earn CPA license and work in the accounting field upon graduation. In her free time she is interested in photography and international travel. She also enjoys visiting contemporary art galleries in different cities and trying out new restaurants.

Danielle is a Junior at the University of Southern California pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She is from Orange County, California and transferred to USC from NYU in Fall 2016. She will be interning with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Core Forensics Advisory intern this coming summer. In her free time Danielle enjoys hiking, watching movies, cheering for the LA Dodgers and Dallas Cowboys, and traveling.

Julia is currently a junior majoring in Business Administration with the intent to declare Accounting. She is looking forward to serving as the Director of Fundraising this semester and hope to bring members a diverse array of fundraising opportunities! She is originally from the Bay Area and transferred into USC after one year at UCI. In addition to BAP, Julia is also involved in the community service fraternity, APO and the Taiwanese cultural organization, TAO on campus. In her free time, she likes to take spontaneous trips and hang out with friends.
